Book Chapter, Problems, Promises, & Paradoxes of Aid

After several years in the making, I’m happy to report that the book Problems, Promises, and Paradoxes of Aid is out with Cambridge Scholars. The volume, which is edited bMuna Ndulo and Nicolas van de Walle of Cornell University, contains a chapter written by yours truly on budget support in Rwanda, as well as many other interesting essays on the contemporary role of aid in African development. The edited volume is based on a conference of the same name put on by the Institute for African Development at Cornell University in 2009.
